STEM

They will be exposed to Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) learning through their natural sense of curiosity, urge to repeat actions that cause any compelling effect, and adjust to the world around them. Our classrooms and outdoor facilities give them a chance to use their five senses to discover new things by manipulating objects and interacting with their surroundings.

They are exposed to STEM through natural interactions with age-appropriate tools laid out for them in their classroom and in a safe outdoor environment. With building blocks, children are encouraged to build familiar structures and incorporate their math and engineering skills. Kids will also utilize simple scientific tools such as magnifying glasses and microscopes. We take advantage of outdoor learning as a way for them to examine and explore with the natural environment.

We implement hands-on activities to improve scientific thinking, reasoning, analysis, and creativity. We focus on motivating children to create their own hypothesis, improve their problem-soling skills, and increase their vocabulary. We stimulate their inquisitive nature and allow them to play, discover, and explore their natural environment.

Pre-K children will be invited to participate in activities that focus on space, physical, and life science to improve their skills in investigation, discovery and inquiry. We teach them technology and engineering through different activities and experiences administered by our teachers that are focused on designing and experimenting through play. They will be exposed to more math concepts through playing blocks, hands-on materials, and activities designed to help increase their skills in children one-to-one correspondence and sequencing and classifying objects.
